Merilli1885 Joins Coast Is Calling, Round 2
The South Australian Tourism Commission just selected Merilli1885 for Round 2 of their Coast Is Calling campaign. Which means more people might discover what you’ve been looking for: a place where nobody expects anything from you.
Seven Minutes to the Beach. Ninety Acres of Quiet.
The Fleurieu coastline is remarkable, Middleton, Goolwa, Port Elliot, all those stunning coastal walks, cafes, restaurants, artisan stores just 7 short minutes from our gate.
But what we’ve noticed is alot of our guests arrive planning to explore the region and visit the beaches…..then they don’t leave the property.
Not because there’s nothing to see, but because they’ve finally found permission to do nothing. To finish a conversation. To watch weather move across the dam, admire the cacti in bloom. To remember what it feels like when nobody needs you for anything.
The coast is calling, certainly. But so is the quiet of the Fleurieu Peninsula. And right now, you probably need the quiet more.
What This Campaign Means
We’re proud to support our local community and grateful the SATC recognises that sometimes the best coastal experience is the one where you can see the sea on the horizon but don’t have to perform for anyone.
Coast and countryside. Luxury and privacy. Locally sourced provisions all included, and nothing required by you.
If You’ve Been Putting It Off
If you are the lucky recipient of a Coast is Calling voucher, this is your sign….There’s never a perfect time to take a break. There’s always one more thing that needs doing, one more email that can’t wait, one more week that would be “better.”
The coast is calling. And for once, you can choose whether to answer.
We’ll be here either way with fresh provisions in the fridge, nobody else for acres, and all the time you need to remember how to switch off.
