Photography for Special Occasion Stays at Merilli1885 with HNY Days
Some stays deserve to be remembered properly.
We are delighted to partner with HNY Days to offer private photography sessions for special occasion stays at Merilli1885. Designed for birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, pre-wedding stays and romantic escapes, this optional experience allows guests to capture their time here in a way that feels natural, personal and beautifully connected to place.
Set on 90 private acres in Currency Creek, on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula, Merilli1885 offers a private and peaceful setting for meaningful moments. The restored 1885 stone cottage, contemporary country interiors, open fireplace, verandah, paddock views and wide Fleurieu skies create a beautiful backdrop without feeling staged.
Private photography sessions with HNY Days are available by prior arrangement and may be tailored to suit your occasion. Whether you are celebrating a milestone birthday, a quiet anniversary, an engagement, a proposal or a pre-wedding stay, the experience is designed to feel relaxed and unforced.
Rather than a formal photoshoot, the focus is on capturing the feeling of your stay: morning coffee on the verandah, a walk through the paddocks, a glass of wine by the fire, quiet moments in the cottage, or the joy of sharing time with the people closest to you.
For proposals, Merilli1885 offers privacy and a strong sense of place. A moment beside the dam, under the gums, near the fireplace or out in the paddocks can be captured discreetly and naturally.
For pre-wedding stays, the cottage provides a calm and elegant place to pause before the day begins. HNY Days can capture the details that often pass too quickly: robes, flowers, handwritten cards, champagne, laughter in the kitchen and quiet moments before leaving for the ceremony.
HNY Days brings a thoughtful and relaxed approach, allowing guests to enjoy the moment while the story is gently captured around them.
Private photography sessions are subject to availability and can be added to selected Merilli1885 stays by prior arrangement.
