We’ve Made It Simple

At Merilli1885, we work with Bespoke Delights to bring the Fleurieu’s best straight to your door.

No driving. No searching for parking. No wondering if the place you’ve chosen will be any good.

Just a picnic hamper filled with local cheeses from Alexandrina Cheese Company, freshly baked bread, seasonal fruit, cold meats, antipasto, and all the things that make a meal outdoors feel special. We can add wine or bubbles if you’d like. Everything can be tailored to your preferences and dietary needs.

The cottage is already stocked with everything else. A proper picnic basket with cutlery, glassware and plates. A wine cooler to keep things chilled. A picnic rug to spread out under the trees.

All you have to do is decide where to go.

Where to Take It

You could walk down to the dam and settle under the 500-year-old gums. Watch the cattle graze. Listen to the kookaburras. Let the afternoon disappear.

Or take it further. Middleton beach is seven minutes away. Spread out on the sand, stay for sunset, and drive back when you’re ready.

Port Elliot, Goolwa, the walking trails along the coast. They’re all close enough to reach without the day feeling like a logistics exercise.
